Urielsoft recently has signed a contract to establish a Cargo Information Display System (CIDS) for Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport located in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

This project is part of the expansion project for the third terminal of Shahjalal International Airport, which Samsung C&T won in a consortium with Fujita and Mitsubishi.

Following last year's contract for IT system consulting for Shahjalal International Airport, Urielsoft also won an order for CIDS establishment this year, proving its technological prowess in the global market.

CIDS is a system that provides airport operators with detailed cargo information in real-time along its movement route, such as type, storage location, and schedule information, and that improves the quality of service by facilitating intercommunication between the stakeholders.

Through this project, Urielsoft has expanded its business scope to cargo-related fields, in addition to the passenger transportation field which is its major scope. CIDS is operated only in a small number of airports around the world, and it is a system that has not yet been applied at Korean airport terminals. It is expected that Urielsoft's experience in this project, which other companies have not yet experienced, will become a new competitiveness of Urielsoft.

As the aviation industry becomes active again after COVID-19, Urielsoft will continue to develop its capabilities in the international market as a leading company in the smart airport system market.
